Secular Humanist Viewpoints
Pamphlet Series
|
Secular Humanist Viewpoints is a series of informative and
thought-provoking pamphlets on topics of public interest. Secular Humanist
Viewpoints are not authoritative secular humanist doctrines or policy statements;
instead they exemplify how the rational and compassionate philosophy of humanism can be
applied to moral, social and philosophical issues.
Secular Humanist Viewpoints currently available are:
-
"Affirmations of Humanism: A Statement of Principles"
-
"Are the Ten Commandments Relevant Today?"
by Gerald A. Larue
-
"The Case Against Prayer in Public Schools: An Open Letter to Christians at
Graduation Time"
by Victor Bernard
-
"A Declaration of Interdependence: A New Global Ethics"
by the International Academy of
Humanism
-
"A Humanist Guide for Divorce Ceremonies"
by Vern Bullough and Bonnie Bullough
-
"Is there Life After Death?"
by Thomas Flynn
